Face the world with new confidence! Readily visible results, almost painless treatments, the latest technology applied by seasoned professionals and ultra-safe laser systems make removing hair at the PKLP Aesthetics – Center for Aesthetic Surgery a pleasant and straightforward experience.

The aim of the laser hair removal is to significantly reduce hair. Several sessions are required. The laser treatment is very successful with dark hair.

The biggest advantages are no ingrown hair and longer periods without hair compared to conventional methods.

The laser light penetrates the skin, destroys the root of the hair (hair follicles) and leaves virtually no scars. Laser energy penetrates the skin, but usually does not damage it. When it passes through the skin, heat is generated that might hurt the skin. It is, therefore, recommended to cool the treated skin afterwards to thoroughly soothe the irritated skin and redness of the treated skin areas.

Hair follicles are deeply anchored in the skin and have rest and growth phases. Several sessions are necessary, since only active hair follicles in the growth phase can be destroyed (approx. 30%).

The optimal intervals between 2 treatments and their number depend on the area treated and the overall hair growth.

Recovery and Follow-up Treatment

In order to avoid further irritation to the skin, it is important to not expose the affected area to the sun 2 weeks before and after the treatment. Avoid tanning beds during this period too. Hair should not be plucked or epilated, only shaving is allowed.
