Tattoo removal

With our special laser treatment at the PKLP Aesthetics – Center for Aesthetic Surgery we will help you get rid of old, unwanted tattoos.

We will be using a spectra laser with customizable wavelengths to remove all colors.

Procedure

The laser light destroys the pigment. Afterwards, the destroyed tissue is removed through the lymphatic vessels.

The energy penetrates the skin and, usually, does not damage it. While passing the skin, the laser radiates heat, which in turn can hurt the skin. That is why it is important to cool the treated skin very well afterwards. This will soothe the treated area effectively.

The treatment with laser light feels like the snap of a rubber band. The pain you experience depends on your own level of pain tolerance and the area treated. It is similar to tattooing itself.

Immediately after the treatment your skin will appear white and will turn into light red swelling within minutes. After a short period of time these symptoms will subside.

Occasionally, hypopigmentation and skin lightening might occur. Your normal skin tone should return after three to four months after the last treatment.
Dark colors can be removed a bit faster, colored tattoos take some more time.

You can get back to your normal routine right after the treatment.
